History

The KAEMaRT (Knowledge Aided Engineering, Manufacturing and Related Technologies) 
group has been established and coordinated by Prof. Umberto Cugini since 1979.Its first location was at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Politecnico di Milano. 
In 1988, it moved to ITIA - CNR (Institute of Industrial Technologies and Automation of the National Research Council), and then to the Department of Industrial Engineering – Universita’ di Parma. 

Currently, the group is located at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Politecnico di Milano.
